Auto keeps the classic neighbor-count look when only a few coefficient values occur, and switches coefficient-rich results to class signatures. Class modes divide nearby coefficients into value classes and color each tile from the full local class-count signature. The |value| mode groups +a and -a together; the negative-coefficient hue setting can still display the tile sign. Tile-size scaling is display-only: area is proportional to normalized |coefficient|, while neighbor calculations still use the canonical tiling.
